OUR STORY

Back in 2011 I was actively involved in the operation of our family construction company, working part time in the office while being a Mum of four boys, the youngest being in year 11 at the time.
After years of raising the boys and all that motherhood entails plus working part time and renovating the family home (I was the painter, decorator and primary gardener) I decided that it was time to focus on my own health and well-being. It was time to get into shape, so I set myself a goal to lose 5 kilos.
I found a newly opened local boutique gym and with the help, guidance and encouragement of a wonderful personal trainer I realised my enjoyment of physical exertion and movement! I became so motivated that I surpassed my goal and lost 13 kilos (20% of my total body weight).
The changes and improvements not only in my physical shape and size but also in improved skin tone, clearer complexion, increased energy levels and the disappearance of my hayfeeder and dermatitis brought about a heightened interest and enthusiasm for greater knowledge of fitness and health through exercise and nutrition in order to help other people.
With very little hesitation I decided to embark on my new career as a fitness professional and enrolled with the Australian Institute of Fitness and thus my journey of deeper knowledge and understanding began.
In July 2014 I became a qualified Personal Trainer and subsequently with further professional development training courses gained more qualifications as a Pilates instructor, Yoga instructor and Corrective Exercise Specialist.
My love and interest in highly nutritious food and how it affects our overall health has been something which my parents placed an enormous emphasis on when I was growing up. I subsequently placed an enormous emphasis on healthy nutrition with my own children as they were growing up. To this day I am fascinated by the effect nutrition has on our physical and general health. Through my education with Precision Nutrition to quality as a certified Nutrition Coach, I am able to coach anyone who wants to improve their own health, lose weight and more.
